Congratulations Year 11!

We were delighted to see so many happy faces at RTS this morning as Year 11 collected some very impressive GCSE and vocational results.

Students, staff and families have worked incredibly hard throughout a very challenging period of time and these grades reflect that effort. Attainment this year is significantly above our pre-pandemic levels, which is excellent after students returned to external exams for the first time since 2019.

As always with exam results, the key thing is what it means for students and, as things stand, the vast majority are set up to take the next exciting steps into further education or employment with training. Our excellent careers team continue to work hard with all students to ensure they access appropriate destinations. It’s great to see so many staying with us to study in our fantastic Sixth Form which, in partnership with Lawnswood School and the Ultimate Football Coaching Academy, offers a broad range of courses and has an excellent track record of academic achievement and progression to higher education.

Overall, a brilliant effort from everyone involved!
