Under 14 Basketball

Some more positive basketball news, yesterday evening our under 14 team kick started their winter league season with a win and a narrow loss in their new kit!

Our first game against Abbey Grange was fast paced with us being 14 – 6 up as we went in to the second half. Somehow we managed to draw the game leading into overtime! Unfortunately we missed out on the win in a nail biting finish, a dissapoonting second half.

The team learnt a lot after their first game together and went on to show their quality in the second matchup with a comfortable win.

The lads are a fantastic bunch and deserve lots of praise!

A couple of our lads were also scouted during the 2 games and were delighted!
