U16 Girls Football Success

Congratulations to our U16 girls football team for their performance yesterday afternoon. This was the final round of league games for the girls who were 2nd in the league prior to going into the tournament. They needed to pull out all the stops to stay in this position or go one better and finish 1st in the league and that’s exactly what they did! As a result, our girls have finished 1st in the Leeds Schools League!

Huge thanks must go to the four Yr 8 girls who stepped in to play for U16s. Maria Soares needs a special mention for scoring an absolutely amazing goal from way out that went right into the top corner.
