Technology: The Padawan Experience

We’ve chosen technology for one of our GCSE options because we want to have the experience of designing and making our own products. It helps us develop key skills such as working under pressure, accurately planning and creativity. We are also developing our research and analytical skills. So far it has been really enjoyable and Mr Smith is an absolute Jedi! He makes lessons fun- especially during theory work that can be quite boring. It is a positive working environment in which safety is a priority, but we can still use machines and develop our making skills. The projects we make are cool and challenging.
