Scarborough Science Trip
35 Year 10 students enjoyed a trip to the Yorkshire Coast as part of their science studies. During the trip they found puffins amongst the seabird colonies at Bempton Cliffs, hermit crabs galore in the rock pools at Scarborough along with carrying out limpet surveys and seaweed transects. The trip wasn’t all work though with free time on Scarborough seafront, a cinema night and a boat trip from Whitby, all finished off with fish and chips on the pier.
