RTS Writing Group
I have run the writing group at Ralph Thoresby for eight years now. It is a highlight of my week! Pupils from every school year attend and get to try out different writing forms. It’s a chance to be free in our writing, to work off curriculum and experiment in a relaxed and friendly environment. Despite the fact I have a less formal approach than in ordinary lessons, I think that pupils still benefit greatly in terms of improvements in the maturity of their ideas and writing styles. It really benefits pupils to work and socialise with pupils across the year groups! Ms Wolstenholme
