RSE

Ralph Thoresby School takes its responsibility to provide relevant, effective and responsible RSE to all of its students as part of the school’s personal, social, health education (PSHE) curriculum very seriously. The school wants parents/carers and students to feel assured that RSE will be delivered at a level appropriate to both the age and development of students, and safe to voice opinions and concerns relating to the RSE provision. 

Relationships and Sex Education is taught through our Citizenship curriculum and some elements are taught through Science as part of the national curriculum. The Citizenship curriculum is delivered by specialist teachers once per fortnight from Year 7-13.
