Revise Wise – Textiles

All your marks will be based on your Portfolio of Work as well as the Controlled Test in year 11.

Portfolio/Coursework is worth 60% of overall mark.

Controlled Test is worth 40% of overall mark.

For both Art and Photography, we do not do revision, BUT . . . you are expected to continuously work toward producing your portfolio of coursework.

You must complete at least 3 hours per week as homework/extra study. You should be doing this, alongside attending every lesson and lunchtime clubs, from now until April. See your teacher for more details.

Remember you will be marked on the following:

A01 Research 25%

Develop ideas through investigations, demonstrating critical understanding of sources.

A02 Materials 25%

Refine work by exploring ideas, selecting and experimenting with appropriate media, materials, techniques and processes.

A03 Recording Ideas 25%

Record ideas, observations and insights relevant to intentions as work progresses.

A04 Personal Response 25%

Present a personal and meaningful response that realises your intentions and demonstrates understanding of visual elements
