Relationships and Sex Education

Ralph Thoresby School takes its responsibility to provide relevant, effective and responsible RSE to all of its students as part of the school’s personal, social, health education (PSHE) curriculum very seriously. The school wants parents/carers and students to feel assured that RSE will be delivered at a level appropriate to both the age and development of students, and safe to voice opinions and concerns relating to the RSE provision. RSE is taught through our Citizenship provision and the curriculum maps for this subject can be found under the curriculum tab of the website. Elements of RSE are also taught within the Science national curriculum in Year 7-11.

If you would like any further information on what is delivered please contact Chloe Bell, Assistant Headteacher at cbell@ralphthoresby.com
