Rebel Writers

The Ralph Thoresby creative writing club, Rebel Writers, is lucky enough to have the performance poet and writer Kirsty Taylor run its next six sessions. Kirsty is a BBC Verb New Voice, teacher and facilitator, widely known across Yorkshire. The project will culminate in a finished piece of work in the form of a film where the pupils will get a chance to perform or illustrate their writing visually. Anyone interested in writing is welcome to join – who knows, you might be the next Michael Morpurgo? The club runs after school until 4.30 every Wednesday night in C110 – see Ms Wolstenholme for details. Kirsty has been funded by Headingley Literature Festival and we are extremely grateful for their continued support.
