Congratulations Year 11!

We have had a fantastic morning welcoming in our Year 11 students to pick up their GCSE and vocational results. It was great to see so many smiling students who were clearly delighted that their hard work has paid off. There are too many stories to share on an individual basis but it is important that all of our young people take time to reflect on how hard they have worked and the resilience, determination and dedication they have shown to their studies.

Yet again students, staff and families have pulled together over the last two years to ensure that our Year 11 cohort were supported to complete their studies and their grades reflect that hard work. These young people have had to deal with exceptional levels of challenge and uncertainty over their time at Secondary school and we are so pleased that they have done themselves and our community proud.

Our Careers team in school have been working hard over the past year with all of our Year 11 students to ensure they have their next steps in place into further education or employment with training.  We are pleased that so many of this cohort are staying with us to study at our fantastic Sixth form.
